Last Updated · 05 / 15 / 2026

VVS Venetian LLC, also referred to as Venetian Plaster of Utah or Utah Venetian Plaster, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect information submitted through our website, text message links, forms, and other communications with us.

We are a small Utah business. Our website currently has two primary functions: a basic lead/contact form and an SMS launcher that allows interested Utah custom home builders to voluntarily text us. We only intend to collect information from individuals and businesses located in Utah, and we do not seek to collect personal information from minors.

01

Information We Collect

We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us. This may include:

  • Your name
  • Business name
  • Job title or role
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • City, service area, or project location in Utah
  • Information about your business, project, inquiry, or interest in Venetian plaster services
  • Any message or other information you choose to submit through our website form, SMS message, email, phone call, or other communication

If you choose to text us through our website's SMS launcher, we may receive your phone number, message content, date and time of communication, and related communication records.

Our website hosting provider, form provider, SMS provider, email provider, or other service providers may also process limited technical information necessary to operate the website, deliver messages, prevent spam or abuse, and maintain security. This may include basic log data such as IP address, browser type, device information, timestamps, or similar technical information. We do not use this information to personally identify you unless needed for security, troubleshooting, legal compliance, or business protection.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, Social Security numbers, driver license numbers, financial account information, health information, precise geolocation information, or government identification numbers through our website.

02

How We Use Information

We may use information you voluntarily provide to:

  • Respond to your inquiry
  • Contact you about Venetian plaster services
  • Evaluate whether our services may fit your project or business needs
  • Schedule calls, consultations, site visits, estimates, or follow-up communications
  • Maintain ordinary business records
  • Send email or SMS communications, including future marketing communications where permitted by law
  • Manage opt-out, unsubscribe, and communication preference requests
  • Prevent fraud, spam, abuse, or misuse of our website or communications
  • Improve our website, services, customer communication, and business operations
  • Comply with applicable Utah and federal laws, regulations, legal processes, or lawful requests

We do not collect information for unrelated purposes. We do not currently sell personal information.

03

Email and SMS Communications

By submitting a form, texting us, emailing us, calling us, or otherwise voluntarily providing contact information, you authorize us to respond to your inquiry using the contact information you provide.

We may use your contact information in the future to send marketing communications by email or SMS, but only as permitted by applicable law. You may opt out at any time.

For email marketing, you may opt out by following the unsubscribe instructions in an email, replying with “unsubscribe,” or contacting us directly.

For SMS/text communications, you may opt out by replying STOP or by contacting us directly. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary. Reply HELP for help, where supported.

A voluntary inbound text message to us allows us to respond to your inquiry. However, for automated marketing texts or other SMS marketing that requires additional consent, we will seek consent as required by applicable law.

Opting out of marketing communications will not prevent us from sending non-marketing communications, such as responses to your direct inquiry, service-related messages, scheduling messages, legal notices, or communications necessary to complete a transaction or business relationship.

04

No Sale of Personal Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We do not sell, rent, or share SMS opt-in consent data or mobile phone numbers with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate our website, manage forms, send emails, send or receive SMS messages, manage customer communications, host data, prevent spam, or support ordinary business operations. These service providers are permitted to use information only as needed to provide services to us or as otherwise allowed by law.

05

Service Providers and Limited Disclosures

We may disclose information to:

  • Website hosting providers
  • Form submission tools
  • Email service providers
  • SMS/text messaging providers
  • Customer relationship management or lead tracking tools
  • Scheduling or communication tools
  • IT, security, analytics, anti-spam, or website maintenance providers
  • Legal, accounting, insurance, or business advisors
  • Government authorities, courts, regulators, or other parties when required by law or when necessary to protect rights, safety, property, or legal interests

We may also disclose or transfer information in connection with a business transaction, such as a merger, sale, transfer of assets, restructuring, or similar event, provided that the receiving party is expected to protect the information consistent with applicable law.

06

Cookies and Tracking

Our website is intended to be simple and focused on lead capture and voluntary communication.

We do not currently intend to use non-essential cookies, data brokers, third-party behavioral advertising, or cross-site tracking to sell or monetize personal information.

If we later use analytics tools, advertising pixels, cookies, retargeting, or similar technologies, we will update this Privacy Policy as appropriate and provide any notices or choices required by law.

07

Utah Privacy Rights and Requests

Because we are a small business with limited revenue and limited data collection, certain Utah Consumer Privacy Act requirements may not currently apply to us. In addition, our website is primarily intended for business-to-business communications with Utah custom home builders.

Even so, we strive to respect privacy rights and reasonable privacy requests. Subject to applicable law, business needs, identity verification, and legal exceptions, you may contact us to request that we:

  • Confirm whether we have information about you
  • Provide access to information you voluntarily submitted
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete information you voluntarily submitted
  • Provide a copy of information you voluntarily submitted, where reasonably feasible
  • Stop sending marketing communications
  • Withdraw consent for future marketing communications
  • Opt out of any future sale of personal information or targeted advertising, if we ever engage in those activities

To submit a privacy request, contact us using the information in the “Contact Us” section below. We may need to verify your identity or authority to act on behalf of a business before responding.

We will respond to privacy requests within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law.

08

Children and Minors

Our website and services are intended for adults and business contacts, including Utah custom home builders. We do not direct our website, services, marketing, or lead capture efforts to minors.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals who are 18 years old or younger. If we become aware that we have received information from a minor, we will delete that information unless we are legally required to keep it.

Parents or guardians who believe a minor has submitted information to us may contact us using the information below.

09

Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information submitted to us from unauthorized access, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These steps may include limiting access to information, using reputable service providers, maintaining secure accounts where reasonably practical, and deleting or destroying information when it is no longer needed.

No website, email system, SMS system, or electronic storage method is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we strive to use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate for our size, business operations, and the type of information we collect.

10

Data Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including responding to inquiries, maintaining business records, managing communications, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and protecting our rights.

Because custom home and construction-related sales cycles can be long, we may retain lead and communication information for a reasonable period after the last interaction unless you ask us to delete it and we are not legally or operationally required to keep it.

When information is no longer needed, we will delete, erase, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it in a reasonable manner.

11

Data Breach Response

If we become aware of a security incident involving information we maintain, we will review and respond to the incident in good faith. Where required by applicable Utah or federal law, we will provide notices to affected individuals, regulators, or other required parties.

12

Information From Outside Utah

Our website, services, and lead capture efforts are intended for Utah-based contacts and Utah projects. We do not intentionally target individuals or businesses outside Utah.

If you contact us from outside Utah, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States and handled according to this Privacy Policy and applicable U.S. law. We may choose not to respond to or may delete inquiries outside our intended service area.

13

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date above. Changes will be effective when posted unless otherwise stated.

If we make material changes to how we collect, use, disclose, or process personal information, we will provide notice as required by applicable law.
